Pori Jazz, one of the biggest and oldest summer festival in the Nordic Countries, asked me to design and paint the main gate and some panels. We painted about 150m2 in four days in Pori with my friend Juha Liede.
The idea behind the painting was to include and pull the festival goers to the festival spirit, through the main gate. The colorful shapes are creating a space that invites the people to walk through the gates and start the festival fun.
As the people arrived to the festival, a lot of them stopped immediately to take a picture as a group in front of the main gate.
