Science centre Heureka asked me to illustrate their exhibition Power of Play. This was a dream job for me and Heureka a dream client. I have visited the centre ever since I was a little kid and they've always had interesting science related exhibitions on display.
I illustrated the exhibition signage that were all on separate video screens across the exhibition. I also illustrated the big map in the beginning of the exhibition and icons on story dice, one of the action spots in the exhibition.
These are  all the action spots illustrated. I made the characters first and then we discussed how they would interact on different action spots.

Map of the whole area shows all the action points for children and averyone else to play in. The characters are there to guide and introduce the area.

There was also a hole in the wall action spot in which you could make yourself a silly combination of an animal; bird tiger, cow alligator or some other weird hybrid like that.

These black and white icons were done for actions spot Story Dice. Visitor can throw a soft big story dice and make up their own story according to results.

These animals  were for action spot Throw A Pair. You were  suppose to find a pair just by making an animal with your hands. First you see the animal on a screen, then you make the shape of it with your hands and then your friend guesses the animal and poshes a button with the animal on it.

Some additional illustrations.
